Orangewood Foundation Logo

Orangewood Foundation was founded in 1981 and today is one of the leading providers of services to foster and community youth in Orange County. Foundation programs focus on four critical areas: health & wellness, housing, life skills & employment, and education. Recognizing that 46% of foster youth do not graduate from high school, in August 2013 the Foundation opened Samueli Academy, a free public charter high school for community, underserved and foster teens and located in Santa Ana. In June 2017, our inaugural graduating class had a 99% graduation rate with 97% of students continuing on to college. Annually, Orangewood Foundation serves almost 2,000 foster and community youth. Hello Family and Friends,

We would like to honor the memory of our dear Ricky through this campaign by providing several holiday dinners for the foster youth at the Orangewood Foundation. Ricky loved the holidays, everything about the holidays but in particular the family dinner gatherings.  He enjoyed helping his mom Rosa with dinner, he made sure everything was homemade (from scratch).  Every Thanksgiving he was in charge of making the mashed potatoes, he always wanted dinner to be perfect.  We want the foster youth at  Orangewood to enjoy a holiday dinner, just like Ricky enjoyed his.  What more than to try and warm their hearts and make the holidays a little stress free.  Please help us raise funds this year so that we may bring them happiness, holiday joy and great food.

Thank you and God bless.
